Investment !
Afghanistan’s energy sector is entering a new era of participation and openness, where everyone is connected and has the opportunity to help tackle the country’s energy challenges. Given the constraints of public finance in Afghanistan, it will be essential to increase private-sector investment in the power market to accelerate energy access. Since 2002, the government has been taking concrete steps to develop and adopt laws, regulations and strategies that promote investment in the energy sector.
Like many other companies, DJEE started as an energy service provider. But as our capacity grew, and due to our emphasis, that we are knowledge-based, future-thinking and entrepreneurial organization so did our interest in innovative technologies. Innovation and inspiration can come from anywhere. Only by rethinking the way we innovate can we truly alter the energy sector of Afghanistan and develop technologies and solutions that have the power to shake up old markets and create entirely new ones. However, no matter how fast we grow, we can never make enough of an impact on our own. That’s why we are constantly looking inside and outside our company for ideas, inspiration and know-how. By establishing strategic business partnerships with prominent and reputable national and international companies, we are able to provide a variety of solutions in the Afghanistan energy sector. Working with key partners is an essential part of our mission to increase energy access. As the African proverb goes: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” That is why we are open to all kinds of collaborations.
On the other hand, DJEE wants to play a key role in the development and improvement of Afghanistan’s energy sector through strengthening successful cooperation and strategic partnerships and attracting domestic and foreign financiers. One of DJEE‘s goals is to invest and participate in the Afghanistan energy sector, including: construction and operation of power plants, renewable energy production, transmission and power installation and distribution facilities under BOT, BOO, ROT, MOT &… models.
